How Leak Detect London Started
Leak Detect London was founded as a specialist division of the Emergency Repairs London group, created to address a clear gap in the market: London homeowners and businesses needed access to professional, non-invasive leak detection without the delays, guesswork, and unnecessary property damage that came with traditional methods.
We invested in professional-grade thermal imaging cameras, acoustic correlation equipment, hydrogen tracer gas systems, and advanced moisture meters. Then we recruited and trained a team of specialist detection engineers who focus exclusively on finding leaks - not fixing plumbing, not fitting boilers, just locating the source of water ingress with precision and speed.
Today our detection engineers work across all 32 London boroughs and the City, from central Westminster to outer Havering. The aim on every job is the same: find the leak without unnecessary damage, write it up in a clear, insurer-ready report, and treat the property with respect.
Leak Detect London is the specialist leak detection division of the Emergency Repairs group. Our parent company, Emergency Repairs London, has been providing 24/7 home services across the capital since 2010.
